Play Therapy is a well-established therapeutic approach in which clients use toys, symbolic materials, and mainly non-directive play to express feelings, process experiences, and resolve internal conflicts.
Within a non-judgmental, client-centered environment, the therapist walks alongside the client’s inner world, holding space for both verbal and nonverbal cues. In this process, play becomes the client’s “language,” and the therapeutic relationship becomes the container for healing.
Play Therapy is a holistic and integrative approach that blends expressive arts (drawing, storytelling, sandplay) and play-based techniques to allow clients to safely explore emotions, practice internal regulation, and integrate new narratives. The aim is not to force change, but to accompany emergent insight, self-compassion, and inner growth.
